The only man ever to play an almost impossible feat of a perfect game on Pac-Man!
A perfect Pac-Man game occurs when the player achieves the maximum possible score on the first 255 levels (by eating every possible dot, energizer, fruit and monster) without losing a single life, then scoring as many points as possible in the last level. As verified by the Twin Galaxies International Scoreboard on July 3, 1999, the first person to achieve the maximum possible score (3,333,360 points) was Billy Mitchell of Hollywood, Florida, who performed the feat in about six hours.
Billy was also the highest recorded score holder on Donkey Kong set on June 26, 2007 where he achieved 1,050,200 points.

Pac-Man: Most popular arcade games of all time

Pac-Man is the most popular arcade game played during the 1980s. It was developed by Namco and distributed in U.S. by Midway. The first version was released in Japan on May 22, 1980. Till today, it still be regards as the classic video games of all time.
Before Pac-Man came along, gamers were mostly playing space shooters games such as Space Invaders, Defender or Asteroids. Pac-Man was a revolutionary game genes upon it release and immediately gain a wide range of gamers, young and old to it. It was an icon of 1980s popular culture and inspired, among other things, like TV series, music, T-shirts and toys.
Pac-Man was a maze-chasing game genre that was developed by Tōru Iwatani, a Namco employee, inspired by a shape of pizza. The original naming was Puckman but was change to Pac-Man when it was introduced in United States.
The popularity of Pac-Man caught many game distributors by surprise. It finally occurred to them that they should not stick with those old genres, instead should explore other game genres like racing car game, Rally-X and other overlooked game Defender.
Pac-Man has four ghost enemies, Pinky, Blinky, Inky and Clyde. All fours ghosts have different characters and personality. But they have one thing in common, and that is speed, all four move faster than Pac-Man! To beat the ghosts, Pac-Man have to eat the Power Pill, which are place at the corner of the maze.
Billy Mitchell of Hollywood, Florida was the first person ever to make history to achieves the impossible of a perfect Pac-Man game play. That is, he achieves the maximum possible score on the first 255 levels by eating every possible dot, energizer, fruit and ghosts without losing a single life.
Due to its popularity, Pac-Man was ported to many other game machines, like Apple II, Atari, IBM PC, Commodore 64, NES and Gameboy.
